How come sometimes when i get like 5 hours of sleep the night before and try to take a nap late in the evening it doesn't work??

Sleep cycle: Our brain has a certain sleep/wake cycle. It can be changed but gradually. Napping against that cycle doesn't work well even when tired. If you have a sleep problem please see your doctor. He/she may suggest a sleep study. Also, avoid screens (iPad, phone, PC) at least one hour prior to sleep. Avoid stimulants after noon.
