Ask your doctor : Better ask your treating doctor or the Obstetrician you have prenatal care with. There are different responses to your question/case: treatment isn't necessary if you have no symptoms and you live in an area where amebiasis is endemic, however if not,then you need to be treated. Choice of drug,dosing and duration would be according to the treating physician, please don't self medicate,best wishes
