Improve diet: A consistent diet low in carbohydrates and filled with natural foods /whole foods is recommended. Generally, for prediabetes, there is insulin resistance (caused by being overweight ) when there is a high glucagon signal. If you work toward avoiding liquid sugars (juices,sodas,milk) and limit/avoid bread, rice, pasta, cereal, it will usually allow weight loss. Keep eating natural fats as well.
