Probably not. I would have her checked for Hemoglobin A1C first. If hemoglobin A1C level is found higher than 5.7%, glucose tolerance test would be indicated.

Low carb/low sugar diet for many years. Very fit, active& not overweight. 2 consecutive morning blood tests showed mildly elevated fasting glucose (101 & 102), but non-fasted glucose is lower somehow & A1C is great (4.4%). Concerning for prediabetes?
