If miralax is not absorbed, does it stay in the gut forever? where does it go?

Primarily fecal. : Consistent with its desired effect as an osmotic laxative, the vast majority of MiraLAX is excreted in the feces. There is a slight amount absorbed and excreted through the urine, but it is small. The half-life of MiraLAX is unknown. Good question and good luck.
