Costochondritis : Inflammation of the rib or rib cartilage is fairly common.( costochondritis). Consider taking an over the counter NSAID ( like ibuprofen) for a week . If no improvement see your primary care physician . Yes costochondritis can last longer than 3 months! Best of luck!
