Might be at risk: If your Eustachian tubes are blocked, there would be a potential risk of trauma to the tympanic membranes, particularly high with descent. I would recommend nasal fluticasone and mucinex for the next several days. Before going on the plane, take an ibuprofen 200mg and use chewing gum. Hopefully, it will improve before then. No smoking!

Yes: After 10 days you should feel better and the germs should have been killed. However, it can take a few weeks for the fluid in the middle ears to clear. The fluid should actually protect your ear drums from any pressure change during lift off or landing.
