GRAS up to 250 mg: 1st, L-Theanine (a glutamine derivative found in tea & fungi) is classified as GRAS- Generally Regarded As Safe- by the FDA. Doses up to 1200 mg have shown little, if any positive OR negative effect. In fact, there is no clear proof that L-Theanine has any health benefits, & some negative data that it does nothing to improve mood. Proteins rarely interact with drugs. You may be wasting your money!
