A member asked:

Is there contraindication or any interactions from taking 5 mg bystolic (nebivolol) (bb) @ 3 pm and 5 mg amlodipine (ccb) at 9 pm every day.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Beta blocker CCB OK: There are no problems if these were prescribed by a physician. Each works differently and the only concern i would have would be potential low blood pressure effect of two medications that work to reduce hypertension. As long as you report to your doctor the resulting BP preferably taken at home at random times, you will help your doctor fine tune the dosing.
