No: milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) is not appreciably absorbed and works mostly in the intestines to increase fluid intake into the bowel to promote a bowel movement. If taken in excess it can cause fluid loss and dehydration, which could effect your other meds. If taken as prescribed, it should not cause problems, but talk to your doctor and/or pharmacist to be sure.
