A member asked:

What is scattered antral erosion? is it gastritis? can it mimic gastroparaesis? told i have gp, but i'm wondering if it is just the antral erosion???

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gastritis: Antral erosion is a form of gastritis and is different from gastroparesis which is delayed emptying of the stomach contents. Gastritis is treated with ppi's like prilosec or nexium while stomach stimulants like reglan and sometimes erythromycin are used to treat gastroparesis
