Varies: There is a nerve on the tip of the foot that supplies that area and is superficial, it is possible that you are developing a neuroma there. I would make sure you are not wearing any shoe wear that could be irritating the top of the foot. There are other potential causes as well. Don't hesitate to see a podiatrist or orthopedist for it.
