Could be a neuroma: If just 2 or 3 toes are 'numb' this could be from a specific type of nerve irritation called a neuroma. If all the toes are numb, something else may be going on. See a podiatrist for a physical exam and diagnosis... Then specific treatment is much easier to recommend.

A few things: It might be due to a nerve impingement such as a neuroma or tarsal tunnel, neuropathy from an underlying medical condition (thyroid, circulation, diabetic issues), pain from arthritis or part of raynauds. See a podiatrist to have this sorted out.
