Meds/control of DM: Diabetic neuropathy (nerve disease) is a complication of long-term diabetes mellitus (DM). A frequent symptom is a burning, tingling, or cold sensation of the feet. Good control over DM is very important & checking feet daily for sores/infection is vital,also wearing foot protection always. Meds are available that can be very helpful, including pregabalin, duloxetine, gabapentin, NSAIDS, others.
