Local treatment: After washing throughly and gently, dry completely. First with towel and then with a little corn starch powder. If there is pus, apply a small amount of Bactroban ointment (OTC) after drying it. Do that twice a day, that should take care of the problem if not go to see your primary care provider.

Infection: The presence of pus is consistent with infection and I recommend that you be examined by a physician. A herpes infection is possible for which there is specific treatment. In the meantime apply warm water soaks, apply antibacterial ointment like bacitracin, cover with a loose gauze and avoid tight fitting bra.
