Door smashed finger 2 weeks ago and got a minor cut & we cleaned it.gp saw her for a chest infection on friday i oniy saw that finger is tender, swollen, red and got puss in it wen gettin the axythromax. got nurofen & drained puss. will she b fine?

Needs evaluation: A serious injury like that can have complications - I would worry about a bone or joint infection if that original injury was severe enough. Must have imaging tests to determine (at least an X-ray). The treatment could be prolonged, but I wouldn't delay since the fingers are very important for normal functioning. Something doesn't sound right, so please see a doc right away. Preferably an ID doc!
