Ovarian cysts: Ovarian cysts are very common in young women and can resolve within 6 weeks. It is very possible that there wasn't a large cyst on that ovary when they did the ultrasound. No imaging technique is 100% but Ultrasound is actually the imaging modality of choice for ovarian cysts.
