A member asked:

How concerned should i be with a 3mm polyp on my gallbladder only the one and no stones?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing to worry: 3mm polyp on the Gall Bladder is nothing to worry about. It is benign and need no treatment.Plyps larger than1 cm with co occurring gall stones in people over 50 may need Gall Bladder to be removed. Also if there are several polyps or appear malignant then need to have GallBladder removed too.Follow up with your Doctor, why the test was ordered and the symptoms.
