Many options: Endometrial polyps are not very common in someone your age. If you are looking at birth control options you could consider a combination birth control pill or another brand of Progesterone only pills. Even better you could consider a Progesterone IUD such as Kyleena, Skyla or Mirena. You could also consider the Nexplanon implant.

Sorry: Not really anything to prevent polyps that I know of. Progesterone can help control the bleeding that occurs with them , sometimes. Otherwise, surgical removal would be an alternative. If that is mot an option and your are finished having children, a hysterectomy is definitive. Good luck.
