Tooth Abscess: If one has a tooth abscess, they should see their dentist immediately for treatment. An abscess can cause bacteria to get into your blood stream which can have many disastrous effects including heart problems or the abscess can lead to a serious neck infection. Antibiotics are needed to calm down the infection which can then be followed by a root canal or removal of the tooth.

Many: See your dentist asap! the infection can spread to the sinuses, underneath the eyes, underneath the tongue, side of the jaws and neck, causing your airway to close off. If this continues, it can spread into your bloodstream and into the brain. Get treated.
