Female 36 have been told by consultant i have thyroid cancer after surgery the lump was 3cms removed left side of thyroid and lymphnode which had malignacy awaiting ct scan to see if spread.no symptoms but dont know what type of cancer. prognosis?

Not enough info: Don't know what the pathology said in regards to type of cancer. Don't know what the CT scan showed. You are best waiting until your results return and then your doctor can put all of the pieces of the puzzle together to determine prognosis.

It is impossible to: provide a prognosis without knowing your entire health history as we'll as the pathology of the tumor. You need to rely on the health care providers caring for you locally as they have all of the information necessary to answer your questions.
