Rehab Difficult: A haglunds deformity is a bony protrusion along the back of the heel, usually in the outside ( dorsolateral). It can occasionally get inflamed and become painful to the adventitial bursa that develops over it. The tendon insertion also gets inflamed. I only perform hanglunds resection when it becomes debilitating. Its the rehab that is difficult after this procedure , due to detachment of AT.
