See below: Why are you worried about hantavirus? Are you going to be in an area where the virus is endemic? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are, I'm still not sure I would worry about it. Viruses are very small and would likely bypass any mask you would wear unless you were in a suit such as what the researchers at the CDC wear.
