Hi doctors. my co-op requires masks to be worn in the hallway. if i wear the mask,a single use mask, after being outside, and then wear it back in to my apartment, am i not bringing germs and potential virus into my apartment? ami wrong? suggestions?

COVID 19: You are protecting yourself from particles in the air when you wear mask. When you take the mask off (from behind - not touching the front of the mask) your only risk would be surface contamination. Surface contamination is only a minor mode of transmission. You then throw that used mask directly into the garbage. As long as you handle the mask properly you are NOT contaminating your apt wi mask.
