How do i avoid catching the stomach virus if my family is seeming to come down with it? should i lock myself in my room? wear a mask?

Wash your hands: The stomach flu is spread by fecal-oral route. It sounds gross, but happens a lot. If you touch a surface - like a toilet bowl, or faucet handle where someone who just used the bathroom also touched, and then put your hand to your mouth.....you get it. It can be as simple as turning off the faucet after you washed your hands - the same faucet someone turned on before washing theirs.
