More information: We need more information. Is the implant fixture restored? When was the implant fixture first placed? When/if was the tooth restored? Is it restored temporarily or with a permanent abutment and crown? Were you told no playing sax forever, or just for a short time? I've never heard of that restriction if implant permanently restored with permanent cement. Perhaps if a temporary cement was placed.

Not the same: Different vibratory stimulus. However, once the implant has integrated (about 3 months), you should be able to resume your Sax.
