Here are some...: Need more info on general/specific history which was associated with why you got US of kidneys so to deduce the clinical significance of the asymmetric thickening on the anterior aspect of left kidney, although in reality it could be just a normal variation. If you need further evaluation with repeating US in 6-12 mons or a CT to further delineate what it may be, that should be decided by you & Dr
