Statin myopathy: Statin myopathy is musculoskeletal pain with elevation of CPK ( an enzyme) assoc with use of statins. CPK is elevated so you can easily check . May be due to an effect on synthesis of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10, which is important role in muscle cell energy production. Sometimes changing statin or taking CoQ10 helps. But you also had knee surgery which can be the cause. f/u /w /doc
