STI possible: It is possible that this feeling is the result of an sexually transmitted infection (STI). In particular, trichomoniasis causes a frothy vaginal discharge, and this could be the only or the first symptom a woman is aware of. If you have had unprotected sexual intercourse, you should be checked for STI.
