The vagina routinely "swallows" air during exercise, sex, or straining movements especially in women who have borne multiple children. It will then be "released" often at inopportune, embarrassing times. Ir is not associated with vaginal infection except in the case of severe Trichomonas infection which is transmitted sexually.
