A member asked:

So, my cardiologist just diagnosed me with some long worded thing that means postural orthostatic. if my resting rate is at 48 and my walking rate is anywhere between 120-170. does that mean i have pots or should i stick with his diagnosis?

Hard to say: Hi Both of these conditions are difficult to diagnose and your question is very difficult to answer without being able to review the test results. If you are skeptical about the diagnosis, it's completely ok to ask your cardiologist to tell you why they favor one over the other. Or seek a second opinion from another cardiologist. Hope this helps
