Monitor response: Salicylic acid based face wash and benzoyl peroxide are both routinely used in the management of acne. It can take 4-6 weeks to assess how the skin is responding to the treatment. If after 2 months of daily use this doesn't improve the acne, follow up with PCP to consider other treatment options.
