A member asked:

Had period may 10 light to med flow for 4 days 2weeks later pinkish only when wiped turned to brownish brick red not when wiping for 2 days light cram?

The brownish: color of the discharge is old menstrual blood mixed with vaginal and cervical mucous. If your bleeding is not cyclical, I suggest a GYN exam and hormonal testing of estrogen, progesterone and thyroid function.

Abn period: Could be variation in hormones that happen especially around menopause but would check HCG and also follow up with gyn for sonogram , endometrial biopsy to rule out more significant ovarian or uterine pathology.
