There are better med: Gabapentin is fairly safe drug to take for a few months. But there are better drugs to relieve Hot flashes. Good old Estrogens are back again for short term use(for 1-2 years) and are the Best medicine. Ask your gynecologist to prescribe it for you. HRT as it is called had fallen in dispute for a few years but now we know it is safe used for 1-5 years as long as there is no added progestins along
