There are 3 dark brown spots along the spine ,the thoracic vertebrae . it has been causing pain for a month now. i'm wondering what is that?

3 dark spots/pain: Would f/u/ w/ dermatologist. anything lasting > 1 month should be evaluated. May be bites, may be folliculitis, erythema nodosum, keratosis actinic( from sun ) or seborrheic ( usually in older individual) or moles ( nevi) including melanoma f/u/ w/ dermatologist this week or so as some may need removal.

Dark brown =danger: dark brown or black skin spots are worrisome because their might indicate a melanoma cancer. It could be freckles plus unrelated pain, but suggest you consult a PCP or dermatologist.
