Hold on there.: Surgery is not the only option for a heel spur at any age. Heel spur surgery does not always end up so well, as many patients are unsatisfied with the results. There is a lot to consider before agreeing to have surgery. Location of the spur, foot function, activity level are just a few. I would suggest another opinion.
