Height is genetic: height is usually determined genetically between heights of mother and father. Sometimes a medical condition can cause lack of growth or excessive growth. It sounds like your height is appropriate for your age. Height and weight can calculate BMI. A normal BMI is up to 25, 25-30 is overweight and >30 is obesity. Consider this in looking at your apperaance

Relax: It is quite normal to be self conscious about something at your age, be it height, hair, weight, nasal contour, boobs, etc..It is all part of transitioning through your teens. Most girls stop getting taller at 16. An x-ray of your wrist/hand could confirm this.If you have endless $$$ and a few years to deal with painful surgery and rehab, you can consider this, but it never bothered my mom or sis.
