Diastema: There is no one "best way" to close a space between teeth. Sometimes the space if not too big can be closed simply with tooth colored composite bonding on both adjacent teeth of the space. Porcelain laminate veneers or all ceramic crowns are also used with bigger spaces with heavily filled teeth. Each case is unique. Ortho alone might be best or combination of Ortho and restorations 4 best result

Space: There are several options to close a space between you front teeth and the size of the space is a determine factor. We want the end results to look great and the size of the teeth to be in proportion and harmony with the rest of your teeth. Bonding or veneers are options as are Invisalign or braces. Talk to a dentist to determine what will work best in your mouth.

Gap: 3 ways: 1. Tooth movement to close space (a lifetime solution) 2. Restore teeth to fill space if esthetic proportions can be maintained (restorations require periodic replacement) 3. Best way, Orthodontic treatment to create the best platform on which to do restorative treatment. See an Orthodontist (initial exam usually free) who can then work with your restorative Dentist for best result.

Closing the gap : In some cases a series of Invisalign retainers can be used to move your teeth and close up gaps. An orthodontist can tell you if you are a candidate. Other options include porcelain veneers and composite build ups. Each method has their own risks, benefits abs associated costs. Your dentist can give you better guidance for your situation
