Excess tissue: It is best to recount our excess tissue once teeth are in optimal position (not just "space is closed"). Discuss this with your Orthodontic Specialist. He/she will refer you to your General Dentist, an Oral Surgeon, or a Periodontist, at the appropriate stage in your treatment.
