While there can be: variation between labs, these results appear to be largely normal. The baseline is normal (5-23 micrograms per deciliter). A rise from baseline of at least 7 to 10 ug/dl of cortisol, reaching at least 18 ug/dl at 60 minutes post-stimulation rules out primary adrenal insufficiency.
