My 9 month old baby will not sleep or be put down. he's had a cold for 10 days but now he's just holding his head and crying. what could be wrong?

?Ear infection: Possible ear infection after 10 days with a cold. Need to followup with child's doctor for an exam, diagnosis and treatment. In the interim can treat pain with infant tylenol or ibuprofen.
