I was a heavy smoker for a year , and a social smoker for the next two years until i quit. should i be screened for a brain aneurysm?

See below: Smoking for three years would not in itself be a reason to screen for brain aneurysm. You also asked if all people with poly-cystic kidney should be screened for brain aneurysm and that would be a reasonable cause for screening.

Brain aneurysm.: Brain aneurysms are more typically associated with a family history of such, but you should (1) stop smoking and (2) be mindful of any symptoms you may have that would relate to an aneurysm, such as severe episodic headache, new chronic headache, visual disturbance and the like.
