A member asked:

Does a tetanus booster stop being effective at exactly ten years? or would i likely still be covered at 10 yrs, one month?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably ok: There is actually ongoing research and debate over the longevity of effectiveness of the tetanus booster. If you have had full series, then they are now saying that there is evidence it may be good for up to 30 years! If you have a dirty wound, and it has gone 10 years, you will likely want to get a booster to be safe however.
