Swelling: Sudden swelling of a limb can be a sign of infection or even a clot. Please get evaluated asap.

While back and thigh: pain be caused by lying down on a hard surface for the duration of a colonoscopy, it's unlikely to be severe. I can't think of any way the procedure could cause any area to feel warm to the touch. I always recommend that, if you have bothersome symptoms after a procedure, you call your physician about it.
