Can you drink lemon water with an nsaid-caused gastric ulcer? i've heard lemon is actually alkalizing when ingested but not sure.

Not true.: Despite a lot of hype on the Internet and a book trying to espouse this theory, lemon juice is not alkalinizing. It contains citric acid and does not convert to any alkaline form. It would not be recommended in the setting of a gastric ulcer.
