Ibuprofen/tylenol ..: BUT !! pain could be a sign you need surgery earlier, especially if you are having abdominal cramping or other signs of intestinal pathology. Pain that is mild and limited to the groin may be ok for a while. If worsening or if more abdominal see your surgeon for earlier surgery
