Talk with your neuro: logist post EMG to find out what nerve damage may have occurred that is contributing, especially since your EMG was normal. What was his/her advice to you? Herniated discs and sciatica don't normally cause calf atrophy. Ask him/her about your concerns with ALS, as you're not saying you have the typical symptoms of spasticity, spasms, cramps, fasciculations, or spreading of atrophy to other areas.

Body wide twitching (started calf now everywhere, but mostly calf still), mri showed myelopathy/ Myelomalacia in t spine, 3 years chronic back pain, diagnosed anxiety and panic disorder. Bloods clean. Mri on brain clean. Could this be ALS?
Twitching body wide mainly in legs for 19 months. Clean EMG(just fascias) at 12 months. Clean clinical at 15 months. Am I now in clear regarding ALS?
