Needs exam: Have you had the HPV vaccine series? HPV lesions can be painless bumps, not usually red in appearance and not often smoothbut it is possible . They can spontaneously come and go and there are many forms based on the strain of virus. While your described lesion may be benign, it still warrants an exam to consider excision . You can still start and complete the HPV series if you have not done so .
