Sinuses prob.: Most likely viral. Recommend hot steamy shower and then heating pad to forehead, nose and cheekbones.

Sinus infection: It depends on what you mean by a sinus infection. An upper respiratory virus can cause the same symptoms of nasal and sinus congestion and it typically lasts between 7 to 10 days. A bacterial infection that may need antibiotics extends beyond the 10 day period or it progressively worsens over time. Your current treatment is good, but if things worsen you should see your doctor.
