How do i know if i have bad allergies or a cold?

Can be hard: While there is alot of overlap in symptoms btw a cold and allergies ( sneezing, nasal congestion ) BUT a cold typically has a fever and will resolve in 7-10 days while allergy DOES NOT have fever and will last weeks to months.
